Welcome To The Eggy Egg Company!
My Name is Lara Stenton and in March 2011, after having kept beautiful rare breed hens for six months and loving the delicious eggy taste of the resulting eggs, I decided to start a small business with the aim of sharing my new found knowledge; truly free range eggs are amazing!
What I DO
Delicious fresh chicken eggs plucked straight out of my lay-dees comfy accommodation in the Devon countryside. All the eggs come from my hens who are kept on fresh green grass all year round, fed a varied daily diet of layers pellets, corn, vegetables and as many yummy extras as possible! As a result of this (and lots of TLC) the produce that I sell is unlike anything I have ever purchased from a supermarket.
Not all chickens are as lucky as mine here at Old Venn Farm; many millions of chickens are still stuck in Battery farm systems where they live a short but cruel life.
